Associate of Applied Science in Nursing

The Associate of Applied Science in (A.A.S.) Nursing program is designed for practical nurses who have graduated from a Practical Nursing program and wish to continue their nursing education at the registered nurse level. Program graduates function as providers of care, managers of care, and members of the discipline of nursing in a variety of structured health care settings. Our program can be completed in 18 months for students taking day classes, or in 24 months for those taking web assisted classes.

The Nursing AAS degree program is approved by the Kentucky State Board of Nursing (KBN). Graduates of this program are eligible to apply to take the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-PN and NCLEX-RN).

Our program is taught in a holistic model of the total patient by faculty who are specialists in their fields. There is also a personal, friendly atmosphere at the school that invites you to have an open-door feeling with the administration.
